‘Track’ is a set of colourful paintings that deal with the darkest experiences of our lives. Inspired by mass media imagery and it’s ability to engage our emotions in a safe, socially acceptable way, they can still move us. Perhaps even haunt us.
By way of contrast, there will also be opportunity to view ‘Daily Drawings 2012′, a set of small sketchbooks which cover the whole year- in black and white.
‘Track’ is showing in the Project space, Westgate Studios this Wednesday 30 January from 5 to 9pm.
